How much does commercial carpet removal cost?
It is priced by square footage and by how the carpet is fastened down. Carpet over pad and tack strip lifts quickly and costs the least per square foot. Direct glue-down has to be scraped off the slab and costs more because it is far more labor. Hauling and dump fees are already inside the number we give you. Can you work after hours so we do not lose a business day?
Yes, and that is how most of this work gets scheduled. Nights, weekends and holiday shutdowns are normal for our commercial crews. We coordinate building access, loading dock and elevator use with your property manager ahead of time, and your staff comes back to a swept, empty floor.
Do you haul the old carpet away, or do we need a dumpster?
We haul it. Carpet, pad, tack strip and debris all leave on our truck and disposal is already inside your quote. You do not need to rent a dumpster, and there is no second pickup to arrange.
Will the subfloor be ready for the new flooring?
That is what we work to. We pull staples and tack strip, scrape adhesive residue and sweep the slab so your installer can start. If the installer needs the subfloor prepped to a particular standard, tell us before we begin and we will match it. Heavy grinding or self-levelling is a separate scope, and we will quote it honestly rather than pretend it is included.

Can you clean the carpet instead of removing it?
Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly which one you need. Commercial carpet that is soiled but structurally sound often comes back with hot water extraction for a fraction of replacement cost. Carpet that is delaminated, rippled beyond stretching, or water damaged past saving needs to come out. We do both services, so we have nothing to gain by steering you to the expensive one.
Do you also remove commercial tile, VCT or laminate?
Yes. The same crews pull VCT, glued laminate, vinyl plank and sheet vinyl, and we take out the adhesive underneath. If your project mixes surfaces across a floor, quote it as one job and we will schedule it as one job.
